7 Reasons Parents go Nuts over CGI

1. Love and Care

If there’s one thing your child will feel on the first day, it's that all the staff cares for them.
Individually.
A lot.
That’s the reason we hire staff from around the country; we are specifically looking for warm, caring, individuals that are not only interested in giving the campers a fun time, but truly care about the wellbeing of each as an individual.

2. Smorgasbord

Picture
Thats a good Jewish concept. Arts, Sports, Drama, Dance, Karate CGI offers a smorgasbord of activities and games to draw out the abilities and proclivities in each child. And the staff strongly encourage experimentation.
This is particularly of benefit to children and parents who don’t have a specific focus this summer season, for it will allow the camper to expand their horizons by exploring new activities.
The campers try it all and exit summer with an array of new skills they otherwise may not uncover.
Not into art? There's sports! Basketball not your thing? We’ve got drama!

3. They don’t want to leave. Seriously

CGI is so much fun, and the staff are so caring (see 1 above) that children have been known to cry when their parents come to take them home from camp. Away from camp?! Did you say leave?…Noooooooo

Luckily the counselors are trained for such situations, calmly reassuring campers that although it seems like the world is coming to an end, tomorrow will be a new day. And guess what? New day means that you'll come back and we’ll keep having fun! Does that sound good? High five! See you tomorrow.
Your child leaves with a calm, happy, content disposition. His love tank is full, the devotion is palpable, he is stimulated, he is making new friends and he is absorbing a sense of Jewish pride and joy of Judaism.

4. Diverse

Our campers come from many types of backgrounds allowing them to learn to interact and make friends with all types of children. Campers also come from a homes with a variety of levels of Jewish observance, there is no prevalent denomination. We actively work to ensure that cliques and bullying are a non-issue.

5. Jewish identity

If there is one take-away from all the things CGI, it's the Jewish pride and spirit that pervades every single moment. We believe in a Judaism that is upbeat and optimistic, happy and energized. Your child will experience the love for Judaism that is so powerful, the Jewish pride that has kept us alive for the past centuries.

6. Constant updates

Camp sends updates and pictures on a camp parents whatsapp group, allowing you to see your child without disturbing the fun.
"The liquid nitrogen ice cream making looked awesome! How'd it taste?"
**Looking at mom in disbelief**
"Mom, did you hide a secret camera on me?"
**Hides a smile as she peeks at the parent camp whatsapp**

7. Fun Trips

As if there wasn’t enough fun already, campers are treated to two field trips each week, giving them the opportunity to share their boundless camp spirit with the rest of the world (twice a week!!). After all, why not share something good with everyone else?
